You can try name: trisquel pass: [none]
If that don't work, switch to VT1 (ctrl+alt+f1) and try to login there with the same credentials. Then sudo service gdm stop and sudo service gdm start to restart the xserver.
That's a bug, shouldn’t be there. Got an ATI/AMD GPU? You're in for a bit
of a rough start but don't get disheartened, it's mostly good and not like
this...
