When I first came to Trisquel, I had to keep Windows because a) like everyone  
else, I loved Angry Birds, and b) I was working on a document that  
LibreOffice couldn't open but Word could. Eventually I converted the document  
to ODT and took the time to read Rovio's ridiculous EULA. So I tried to  
install Trisquel alongside Windows, botched the installation and made Windows  
unbootable.

I didn't come to these forums for help; I called my computer manufacturer,  
who told me that I had to reinstall Windows. I lost all but a few of my  
files. But what if I had come here? Would you honestly have rejected me, a  
desperate, panicked amateur willing to embrace free software if only he could  
recover his files? I think the $50 I had to pay for tech support is better  
than that.
