Often many products claim they require Windoze or OSX but in reality work  
also on GNU/Linux.

You don't need to install anything for the internet connection. Those specs  
don't mention the make of the wlan card, some will work, some won't. The  
ethernet will work pretty certainly. You can easily find out by booting off  
Trisquel live CD or live USB.
