I am sick of throwaway electronics, that is partially why I am moving away  
from Apple products. (I'm typing this on an iBook G4 running OS X, but I am  
transitioning to free software.)
The MacBook Pro with retina display has non-upgradable RAM, that bothered me  
even before I cared about free software.

I would swap out the SSD for a larger hard drive, if that is possible.
The computer contains 2 GB of RAM, if it is the HP Pavilion 14 Chromebook.
