I've attached a screen shot of my terminal. I believe that the computer
successfully sees the USB adapter, listed as:
Bus 001 Device 006: ID 0cf3:9271 Atheros Communications, Inc. AR9271 802.11n
because when I unplugged it and ran "sudo lsusb" again, it wasn't listed.
That being said, I'm not sure how to specify this adapter as my source for
networking. I have an internal networking card that I use to access the
internet, the idea behind this USB modem is that I will soon be traveling to
a more remote location, and I was hoping the stronger antenna will give me
more options to connect to the internet.
Any suggestions?
Also, you can see when I typed "sudo cat/etc/apt/sources.list" it came back
with "command not found"
