Okay, in re-reading your comments I'm getting the impression that the UI  
issues are not really playing for you.  I get the surveillance implications  
of the use of non-free software; I've been writing about the so-called  
intelligence community for twenty years.  But what about UI stuff, does it  
matter at all, and if so to what extent?
