Hello fellow Trisquel users,
Sometimes when I boot Trisquel, the screen will go completely blank.
Sometimes I can get to the login screen, but the screen will go blank after I
enter my password. Sometimes I have to reboot the computer by force at least
twice before I can boot Trisquel successfully.
Trisquel also can't restart properly. Whenever I tell the computer to
restart, the computer will shut down. When it tries to reboot, it will show a
lot of white texts on the screen. I don't understand what they mean. Nothing
happens after that. I usually have to force the computer to shut down and
restart it manually.
I used to use Windows on my computer before I switched to Trisquel. Do you
think these problems are caused by hardware incompatibility? Should I buy a
new computer for Trisquel?
What are the causes of these problems and how can I fix them?
