No artist, but superstars, make a dime on the renting/selling of physical  
(CDs, DVDs, etc.) or numerical (iTunes, NetFlix, etc.) copies of their works.  
Superstars already are too rich.

And, again, there exists ways to finance (hopefully more equally) the Arts  
without denying the fundamental freedom to share your culture with your  
friends. A tax on Internet connections for instance.
