I do not use Trisquel's default interface but try to help you anyway. I think
you have to do Windows Key + Right Click on the panel to then "Add elements"
to it. Including a workspace switcher that you can configure from its
"properties" you get with another Windows Key + Right Click on it. If Windows
Key + Right Click does nothing, try adding the Alt key to the mix.
