I still think that having a stable, non webmail desktop email application is important. I've tried Geary, but after their failed crowdfunding campaign (http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2013/04/geary-fundraiser-fails-at-half-way-mark), I've had to resort to using Thunderbird on Trisquel. The PPAs for the Icedove project is pretty stagnant, but at least there are security updates for Thunderbird around the time of the Firefox release.
What's the point in donating to the Trisquel project where he gets the money
but then wants someone else do do this for him?
