Ten to fifteen of my facebook friends "liked" my post; that's about 10% of my 100 to 150 facebook friends. That's not bad, in my opinion. I think it might be because I got lucky and got into a good school. I don't mean an elite school or anything like that; just that the friends from there are pretty open minded and care about learning.
Haha, I think I will be in a similar position, but that's alright. Big
changes don't usually happen overnight -- it took me a few years to
transition from proprietary to open source to free. I'm not even truly free
right now. I have a Think Penguin computer, which is top tier free, and I
still have a proprietary bios. And whatever other low-level proprietary
firmware the x86 (?) design demands.
