Pretty much what has been said already. Install noscript and block flash  
player (gnash in your case) for the websites you want. A better option:  
uninstall gnash and try to run html5 (you might want to try this: install a  
user agent that makes you look like Ipad, usually it will bring up the html5  
by default.)
