Right click on any flash animation and click Edit >> Preferences - http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/4759/7y48.png Click "Player" tab and select "Start Gnash in Pause Mode".
There's also a blacklist but I've not tested it - http://img801.imageshack.us/img801/2577/dcbu.png
