Gnome Shell is horrible and if its installed by default, it will be the first  
thing I purge. Unity isn't bad, but many here hate it.

Traditional desktop look and feel is Mate with Cinnamon giving a more modern  
approach. I'm interested in seeing how the classic desktop in Gnome 3.8 turns  
out for Ubuntu 14.04/Trisquel 7 before giving it final judgement.
