For now,
(and, although I still consider myself an adept of the "red-and-black"
ideology, that is pictured at riseup.net)
I use https://mail.ru/ (with its interface in English) - that is a (very)
good service that, not only is hosted in a democracy not in control of the
Western Big Brother that (I know that) surveills me, but is also hosted in a
country whose government I know I don't have to worry about.
That's what I intend to use, unless I someday decide to set up an e-mail
server of my own.
As for riseup.net,
I know (from experience) how easy it is (due to its open nature) to
infiltrate social movements (and fool the people who are part of them).
And, not knowing (personally and well) who's behind riseup.net, I have no
guarantee, whatsoever, that it's a service run by people I know I can trust
in.
(What guarantees do I have that it's not another trap, set up by the
establishment?)
