I had already imported my public and private keys and Seahorse was already
installed, but righ-clicking on a file did not give the encrypt or sign
option. However, running
sudo apt-get install seahorse seahorse-nautilus
as you suggested did the job - now I have that option when I right-click a
file.
Thanks!
Back to my comment about installing and using GPG on M$Win vs Trisquel - it
sucks that although GPG is Libre, it is many, many times easier to install
and start using it on M$Win than in Trisquel. I got it installed and running
on M$Win in minutes, but had to try for days and eventually relay on this
forum to get it to work easily through GUI on Trisquel. I think that this
type of issue is probably one of the major reasons why the average computer
illeterate like me is slow to fully convert using only a libre OS like
Trisquel...
