[Trisquel-users] Replacing Web Browser

How does one install a new browser from the tar files instead of a package so  
that it is integrated into the system like abrowser.

I updated the symbolic links to point to my browser, but that doesn't seem to  
be the only thing.  Programs that invoke a browser like Liferea still want to  
invoke a non-existent abrowser. (of course I do know that Liferea has it's  
own interface on changing that.

Any thoughts?
