I went the re-installation route with 6.0.1, and that did it!
I'm up and running with wireless! Thank you!I'm still breaking the chains from my prior OS and habits. I know it will be a gradual process. I may have some questions about installing software soon—and, if so, perhaps it would be best to start a new thread.
