I don't think it's a hoverhyped thing. I think is an underhyped thing when  
people say "shrug I will get one anyway, I don't care they spy on me".
I hope running a FLOSS rom (Cm and Replicant) is enough to protect a little  
bit more... But as I have said in another thread, I don't trust my phone  
anything really important and private. :P
Since it was old news, I don't know if it was worth making a new thread, but  
thanks to Fernando_Negro anyway, for posting such relevant information.  
IQCarrier is not a "dismissible" thing, it's a privacy invasion danger.
