You don't say what sort of WiFi you have. Since it's Lenovo my immediate  
concern is that it came with an Intel WiFi card. This needs non-free software  
to operate and would explain why it doesn't work because neither Trisquel nor  
my kernel come with any of that stuff. lspci should be able to tell you more  
details about your WiFi card. In either even, it should be possible to use  
ethernet to complete the installation.
