any help is appreciated.

i tried installing trisquel to a second hard drive. the main drive has
windows xp. everything seemed normal until it tried to load the boot loader.
the computer hung. had to kill the power to bring it alive again. when i
did - no dual boot, just windows. should the boot loader be on the drive
with windows (c:) or on the linux drive?
