[Trisquel-users] Trisquel 6 not recognizing second VGA monitor

Hi all,
Trisquel on My laptop will only recognize one monitor at a time. If I plug in  
the monitior when the laptop is already on, it mirrors at the resoluton of  
the built in panel. If I restart the laptop with the monitor plugged in it  
mirrors at the resolution of the external monitor. Display settings does not  
recognize two monitors no matter what I do. When I had a Fedora based distro  
on the laptop it did dual monitors fine. Any ideas?
