[Trisquel-users] Update Problem

This weekend (3 days ago), I received an update notice (upgrade Abrowser and  
an important security update).  I went through the steps, but the status bar  
never did anything, and I got tired of waiting.  I then cancelled the update.
I have not found anything on my Trisquel (or on the Trisquel web page) for  
checking for and installing updates.  What happened?, and what should I do?
Thank you. (I have been using Trisquel for at least 7 months.)
