If you are in Abrowser, make sure you enable MP4 support through about:config and are able to play H.264 encoded MP4 files in the browser. You may also need to install a user agent switcher and use one of these user agents:

Android:
Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.0.2; en-us; Galaxy Nexus Build/ICL53F) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/534.30

iPad:
Mozilla/5.0 (iPad; CPU OS 7_0_2 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/537.51.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/7.0 Mobile/11A501 Safari/9537.53

Refresh the page and the typical Flash site that plays videos may load an embedded MP4 file instead. So there you go, simple and painless.

Oh if you are using Chromium/Chrome, just go to the dev tools (F12), go to Emulation, and select Nexus or iPad. Simple.
