Unfortunately, Brutal Doom currently cannot be used in complete freedom,  
since ZDoom (the source port on which Zandronum is based) is infested with  
non-free stuff on a level that makes it more non-free than free. However,  
with time and dedication, there could be a liberated version created (we're  
missing such project yet).
