Tried that kernel, but alas, still no resume from suspend. Tried some of the  
--quirks for pm-suspend, but always the same.
On the stock T7 kernel the screen comes back but is locked solid and the  
network doesn't come back (ethernet, not wireless).
On the gnu kernel the network comes back but the screen doesn't.
