Finding free Wifi drivers can be annoying, if you can connect the computer
through ethernet, you might be able to find something in the repository.
There are some non-free wrappers for driver blobs, but I cannot recommend
them. This site (recently shared with me by a member) will list good free
approved hardware:

Getting wifi to work was one of the biggest obstacles for me to overcome when
I first started Learning, but the computer I have now has a free one, so no
more issues. It may actually be easier to replace the card than find a
software solution. Changing a wireless card can be almost as easy as
changing RAM. It is likely close to the RAM, and pops out, and inserts the
same way too. There just should be two wires (one black one white) that pop
off with a screw driver, then just insert the new card, and press the the two
pigtails back in the same spot on the new card. Hope that helps. Luck
