I'm trying to install a program that requires installation of, among other
things, ia32-libs-multiarch. The rest install fine and dandy but when I try
to install multiarch, I get the message I'll put at the end of this post.
I'dve assumed that it was just my rather old laptop being naff, but I was
able to install multiarch and the program a couple months ago. In the
intervening time I had to reinstall Trisquel after a program install started
wiping every facet of the computer one-by-one. On a completely clean install,
I can't see what would stop the multiarch install from working.
I don't know if they are connected, but I also don't have any user images
showing on the login screen but they do show up elsewhere, and Orca is
disabled but still shows up on the login screen.
Here's the message I get when I try to install ia32-libs-multiarch on my
64-bit laptop:
