[Trisquel-users] How to find new installed apps?

Newbee Q: When installing new applications on standard install trisquel.  
Where do you find your applications (like icons - not hencing to cli  
applications). (In a gnome shell or unity you can search for them, but how to  
do this in standard trisquel install?)
