Hi everyone
I'm a brand new Trisquel user.
I have found something that really puzzles me out.
On a fresh install of Belenos I'm not able to:
01. watch a flash video from youtube
02. watch a quicktime video from iTunes Trailers
For the first one:
Abrowser asks me to allow YouTube site to play flash video and I choose
"Apply and Remember"
I got a proper image from the video ready to be played
When I click on the Play button I gives me an generic error and it did not
play
For the second one:
When I click on the Trailer button I got the error that the plugin is
missing
That's really odd and it is surely a Abrowser issue..
I'm sure because of these facts:
- browser-plugin-gnash is installed (to play Flash videos)
- totem-mozilla is installed (to play Quicktime)
- I have installed Midori and it works nice (same machine, same plugin set)
Digging around the system and the net I found out that Trisquel uses AppArmor
profiles (choice I do not agree with).
I have removed it, cleaned all the configuration files, rebooted and tried
again
Nada: same weird behaviour
Am I missing something obvious?
Can you please help me?
