One can actually connect to a (S)FTP server from Trisquel's default file  
manager, Nautilus:

Click the upper-right button;
Click on "Connect to server..." (the 'nautilus-connect-server' command is  
called);
Type the address (something like ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/);
Click on the "Connect" button.
