there are those in bitcoin that want to have your id with your bitcoin
address, all those dam corporate people. there are people making
protections that enable you to use bitcoin like cash, anonymous style.

i don't know about it being a insecure way of storing money but i'm not
knowable about crypto.

if the state/corporate people have there way they it would become..
unattractive to say the least.
