Personally, I think the slides improve his talk a lot. Also he seems to talk more lively, maybe it's a bit of fresh air for him as well. Maybe he should work on the last part a bit; I don't think many people got the idea of service as a software substitute, and clearly not everybody knows about javascript in the first place.

Though I think that he does a great job i don't like that people leave without any idea of how to switch to free software, like "I'm convinced but what do I do now?". They just heard about "gnu/linux" distributions and that there are some free and some non-free. It would be a good idea to talk about some obstacles they might face - things which can easily be done with free software and more sensitive spots, or how they should start to make the change.
