Let me first emphasize one more time that this thread is about hiding. We  
could later create similar threads to discuss other issues.

I personally consider that the rest of the voting system currently works well  
and you seem to agree ("right now this is not an issue"). I believe it is  
better to solve problems when and if they happen, not preventively (at least  
for problems that can be solved in a click).
