What do you consider to be the one net step forward? The EFF describes the situation as substituting one non-Free (not their framing, mine) program for another -- the proprietary software used to implement W3C-endorsed DRM instead of Adobe Flash. This instead of Google using their own WebM in an HTML5 video element.
