There are those meta-packages in the repository: trisquel; trisquel-recommended; trisquel-mini; trisquel-mini-recommended.
The default system depends on the two first packages. You therefore want to install them. The Mini system depends on the two last packages. Removing them will not remove anything (they are meta-packages, i.e., they only define dependencies). If you want to remove the packages that depend on "trisquel-mini" and "trisquel-mini-recommended", you can use 'debfoster' (in the repository too), which makes that process easy.
