The "triskel" package provides a good base (i.e., basic applications  
including Abrowser and KDE applications you probably want: the Plasma  
desktop, the file manager, the virtual terminal, the PDF reader, etc.). You  
can then install your applications of choice (a text editor, a multimedia  
player, an email client, an office suite, an RSS client, etc.) on top of it.
