[Trisquel-users] Absolute beginner Struggle

Dear all,
I need help and as stessed in the title I am an absolute beginner. I 've used  
trisquel for some months now, but at an absolutely basic level. I basically  
browse and use LbreOffice and mailing.
Until today no mayor problems, but after updating today, it's working very  
slowly and weard. It take too long to open simple documents. When I minimize  
windows they leave a shadow, and after some minutes writing, the keyboard  
starts writing different things that what I press.
About a couple of months ago I upgraded to Trisquel 7, but something went  
wrong cause everytime I update it tells me I should do a partial update  
because there was some sort of problem, nevertheless I have been using it  
without problems.
Please, I need help because I need to work. and please remember I am less  
than basic user.
I don't know if it's normal but when I open the system monitor, although  
everything closed, it's sending and receiving some data.
