The mirror seems to be down. I guess the problem will be fixed soon. If you  
do not want to wait, change your mirror. You can easily do that from  
"Download from" in the first tab of "Software & updates" in the "System  
settings". If you know the URL of the mirror, you can as well edit  
/etc/apt/sources.list.
