Perhaps now to remove sda5 you should try using fdisk. Run the command "sudo fdisk"You should have this fdisk manual open in your web-browser: http://tldp.org/HOWTO/Partition/fdisk_partitioning.html
To run a program with root access, you should use the "sudo" command. To use
it, type in "sudo (command to run as root here)"
The second argument, which is "(command to run as root here)" is necessary to
use sudo.
At first, it gives you usage gibberish, and then asks for your password. You
then enter your password.
