Nah, I got an X200 so I should be fine, but thanks, maybe this might suit me  
better.
I'm just trying to have a super simplified install.
Phase 1 of the plan worked just right.
Now I need to install the basics, but since I know not much, I have some  
reading to do.
Seems that I need xorg before installing i3wm and gdm.
When I'm ready, smplayer with mplayer2 looks like a great contender to VLC!
