I purchased the Penguin Wireless N USB Adapter (TPE-N150USB) from
ThinkPenguin and it worked for me without any issue.
I had to do this because my Lenovo Ideapad Y400 restricted the replacement of
the Intel Centrino-N 2230 and I didn't want to mess with all the whitelisting
mess.
The only thing I do have to say is that ThinkPenguin charged me $7 for
shipping and when I received it, I could clearly see that it only cost them
$1 to send it. I tried contacting the company asking why they charge a
ridiculous amount for shipping but to no reply.
I have owned several online businesses, and I found that to be crazy that
they would charge that much for shipping.
But either way, the product did work. I guess the cost of freedom was way
more expensive then I wanted to be, but well worth it.
Which by the way Tehnoetic sells the same product as well as their TET-N150.
They, however, charge €35 and are based in Romania, which wasn't feasible
for me since I live in the states.
Both products are produced by Unex as the DNUA-93F with the Atheros AR9271
chipset.
