Symptom: External USB wireless antenna is not working.
Issue: I do not have an educated guess as to what the issue is.
Configuration: Device: Lenovo Thinkpad x220

Wireless N USB Adapter w/ External 5dBi Antenna (Atheros AR9271) from
Thinkpenguin
Details: I have just switched from Ubuntu 14.04 to Trisquel 7 using the
trisquelize.sh script
(http://trisquel.info/en/wiki/migrate-ubuntu-trisquel-without-reinstalling;
modified for the new Trisquel release). I tested the wireless card by booting
Trisquel from USB and reconnecting to my home network using the USB antenna
from Thinkpenguin, successfully (that's how the installation script was able
to run). After this test, I ran the script, and the wireless card continued
to function during that session. However, after rebooting the laptop, the
antenna is no longer even detected by the system. The blue light does not
come on when it is plugged in.
Request: Any advice? Please let me know what additional information can help
