Hi all.

So I am going to give Trisquel another try.
I have some questions before I proceed:

1. I have Debian 7.8 installed with full disk encryption. Is there a way to format the entire partition and install Trisquel without losing the encryption already in place? It took almost 24 hours to get my disk fully encrypted last time, I don't want to go another round like that. 2. Trisquel 7 is based on Ubuntu 14.04 which is in turn based on Debian 8 (which is now the stable version). Since Ubuntu 14.04 is LTS I suppose they will provide backports from times to times. Are those integrated in Trisquel? Or will we have the same software versions in 2016, 2017...? 3. How fast are the security updates coming? I remember that I left Trisquel because of the slow security updates at the time. When I install the DVD, will there be a ton of updates that are necessary? 4. Is it ok to install from a USB instead of a real DVD? I was gonna use unetbootin to put the iso in my USB device and take it from there. Any problem with that?

I hope someone will take the time to answer these, as I feel these are important questions :)

Thanks everyone!
