1. They are incompatible, which is really silly. Ironically, CC-BY-SA 3.0 is  
(via an upgrade to 4.0) compatible with the GPLv3 whereas the GFDL is not.  
The FSF should really do something about the latter. I myself stumbled upon  
this problem yesterday when I wanted to take formulations from the Trisquel  
wiki and put them into a little GPLv3+ program.
