Indeed. But be before that: backup time. Your user files (what really
matters) are not lost. Just boot a live system (such as the Trisquel ISO you
will use to reinstall) and you will see that you can access them. When you
reinstall, ask for a manual partitioning and do *not* format the existing
partition with user data (it probably is the largest partition and it has an
XFS filesystem if you kept the defaults when installing). You can use that
same partition on your newly installed system. We can help you with that if
