Hello, everyone.

Whenever I boot Trisquel Mini, whether it is the live CD or an actual install, it does not have the Plymouth splash. It uses the text mode. I have tried editing /etc/default/grub but the line already has "quiet splash."

Also, if I try to edit the files in /lib/plymouth/themes/, it does not even change the text at boot... Even if I change "Trisquel 7.0" to "silly bananas," it still says Trisquel 7.0.

Also, I cannot find a way to change my LightDM theme whatsoever. I've tried changing the default in /usr/share/lxdm/themes/, I've tried changing the Unity LightDM greeter in /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/. Nothing works.

So, in short, can anyone tell me EXACTLY where the greeter is getting its files from??? And how I can turn on the plymouth boot splash?

Thank you very much in advance to anyone who helps.
