Yes, for some reason you assumed that Linux is the Hurd. "Parse ISOLINUX" in  
libreboot is a particular method of loading Linux (+GNU). It is not the only  
way to boot GNU/Linux, however. GuixSD, for example, boots from its own GRUB  
configuration file. If you want to learn how to boot GNU/Hurd from  
libreboot's GRUB menu you should read the GRUB manual I think. If you can  
make it work, please share your experience.
