'sudo grub-install /dev/sdX'where sdX is the disk. Open GNOME Disks (usually called 'Disks' under accessories, or open from command line by executing gnome-disks) and look for the disk on which Trisquel is installed, it will probably be /dev/sda if that is the only internal hard drive. Remember to set your BIOS to boot this disk first (really only relevant if you have more than one internal hard drive). Remember to run 'sudo update-grub' afterward so GRUB finds your other installed operating systems. Note that Trisquel sets a GRUB password for the other operating systems. Either delete the file /etc/grub.d/01_PASSWORD or change the password or remember it.
If you installed Trisquel after some other OS, you can try reinstalling GRUB
by running
- [Trisquel-users] edit grub jbahn
