Dynamically linking a module is making a derivative work according to the
GPL. That even is the only difference with the LGPL. Canonical is violating
the GPL because the module in question is under a copylefted license (the
CDDL) that is incompatible with the GPL (Linux's license): the CDDL has
restrictions that the GPL does not have.
